We’re a team of 15 who genuinely love what we do. A diverse team of men and women – unusual in landscaping but normal for us. Two Apprentice of the Year winners. Multiple plant obsessives. All believers that native gardens matter.
From design to construction to keeping it all thriving, you’ll work with people who show up on time, clean up before they leave, and actually care about getting it right.
The Founders
Jethro Plunkett - Co-Director & Design Lead
After a decade back in Tasmania, Jethro’s the one reading your land’s story. He sees drainage where others see slopes, microclimates where others see corners. Probably wearing mismatched socks. Definitely passionate about natives belonging here.
Tim Fogarty - Co-Director & Operations Lead
The self-proclaimed “accidental landscaper” who makes everything run properly. Systems, timelines, client communication – Tim’s the reason we show up when promised and projects flow smoothly. Some call it controlling, we call it thorough.

Design Team
Turning site analysis into gardens that work. They know which banksia frames your entrance, where screening’s needed, and can turn your dream garden into a reality.
Construction Team
The ones who build it right. They handle everything from earthworks to planting day, know which end is up on a grass tree, and protect your existing garden while transforming the rest.
Horticulture & Maintenance
They know when to prune (and when not to), which natives need tip pruning for density, how to read plant health. Your garden’s long-term success is their focus.
The Culture
Friday boat trips to Bruny Island. Deluxe branded jackets for winter. A workplace where “that won’t work” is welcome feedback. Where staff pursue their interests – welding, art, whatever they’re into. Because well-rounded, relaxed humans are better to work with and way more interesting to be around.
