Cottage Garden, Reimagined in Natives.

This one called for something different. A modern Tasmanian native twist that speaks to its location without repeating what already surrounds it.

Species were chosen to work within the scale of the space while pulling in butterflies and local birdlife, carrying a quiet nostalgia that sits comfortably alongside the cottage gardens that define this neighbourhood. Simple in its bones and water-wise in its thinking, it makes an easy, open case for what native planting can offer a community.

Water gives the space its heart. The gentle sound of it creates calm, and the small creatures that come to bathe and drink in its movement are as much a part of the design as anything else.
